Connecting through music: the universal language!
9th of August 2020 BUGTAW is proud to be working with Project Women and the Teraja Longhouse Community in celebration of the International Day of the World's Indigenous People. Headed by the United Nations, this day helps to promote and protect the rights of the world’s indigenous population. The visit to the longhouse, or rumah panjai as they are traditionally called, was organised by Project Women in collaboration with @respectme.bn, @breakthesilence.bn and BUGTAW. Collectively, we worked alongside the indigenous Iban people in order to approach the various missions of each organisation. |
