BUGTAW spent a meaningful and radiant Sunday at Alai Gayoh.
Through our collection drives we were able to bring over 100 books into the Indigenous Dusun Community to be shared via a communal bookshelf, as well as taken home by the children. |

BUGTAW’s main objective is to create meaning by sharing carefully chosen books to promote reading for fun as an enriching alternative to gadgets.
"Deep in the jungles of Kg Bukit Udal lies a traditional Dusun house, built as a reminder of a bygone era when the rural indigenous community still lived off the land. Situated on an islet inside a small lagoon, the house was built in 2010 as an architectural replica of traditional Dusun homes called Alai Gayoh, which literally translates to large or great house."
