BUGTAW is a non-profit project to promote literacy and reading for fun through free and easy access to English books. The project targets underserved communities which lack English resources.
We hope to aid the education of the youth in these communities in order to provide opportunities for a brighter future.

STEP 1
COLLECT
Our Projects are born from a collection of small-scale creative initiatives that come together to make up the resources needed to launch. Whether through local book drives or fund-raisers, it is these seemingly small actions that when brought together create the real impact.
|
STEP 2
CONNECT
BUGTAW works to connect individuals and organisations that share a common objective. By linking communities across borders we are able to take advantage of our globalised world in order to share the abundance of books and materials which are too often thrown away prematurely.
|
STEP 3
CONSTRUCT
At each new location, BUGTAW builds a mini-library to house all the donated books using locally-sourced, sustainable materials. By giving children access to the tools they need, we are helping to build up the community as well as setting off a chain reaction which can begin to break the cycle of poverty which encompasses 23% of the Philippines.

Our projects so far have been based in South East Asia but the BUGTAW Process can be applied anywhere!
BUGTAW is global!
We have shared over 7000 books and have donors from over all over the world 🌏 Find out how YOU can spread the BUGTAW love ☟ |
